Terms of service

Last updated October 2026

By using Linkly or buying a pass you agree to these terms. Linkly is operated by [Legal name], Toronto, Ontario ("Linkly", "we").

  1. What Linkly is. Linkly is a marketplace. Independent hosts create events and sell passes; Linkly runs the website, app and checkout. The host, not Linkly, runs the event and is responsible for the venue, safety, age checks and what happens on the night.
  2. Your account. You sign in with your Linkly account (the same as the app). You must meet each event's age limit (most are 19+). Keep your password private.
  3. Prices and fees. Every price you see includes the Linkly fee of C$1.29 + 4% of the ticket price per pass. The host receives the full ticket price. Taxes, if any apply, are shown before you pay.
  4. Passes. A pass is a revocable licence to enter one event. It scans once. Copies and resale above face value are not allowed; we may cancel passes bought to resell.
  5. Buying for friends. You can pay for friends' passes and send claim links, or ask each friend to pay their share. Unpaid shares are held for 1 hour, then released back on sale; you are only charged for passes paid for.
  6. Sending a pass. You can transfer a pass to someone else for free until doors open. Once they accept, the transfer can't be undone and your pass stops working.
  7. Limits. Hosts may limit how many passes one person can buy. We may cancel orders that break these limits.
  8. Refunds. See the Refund policy. If an event is cancelled you get a full refund, Linkly fee included.
  9. Guest lists and Find Your Crowd are opt-in. Only people with a pass to the same event see you, and you can hide at any time. Harassment, hate, threats and unwanted contact get accounts removed.
  10. Entry. Hosts and venues may refuse entry (for example no valid ID, intoxication, unsafe behaviour). In those cases refunds are at the host's discretion.
  11. Our liability. Linkly is not responsible for the event itself or what hosts, venues or other guests do. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the order in question. Nothing here limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
  12. Changes. We may update these terms and will tell you about major changes before they take effect.
  13. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. Contact: [support email] · [mailing address].
